I had to stop myself from writing your full name, seeing as it just roles off my tongue when I speak about you to others. I love your books, especially Ella Enchanted! It is my favorite out of every childhood book I read growing up and believe me, I read A LOT!!! I'm in college now and believe it or not, Ella came with me! http://www.gailcarsonlevine.com/guests.htmlAlthough I don't want to become a Children's Author, I do want to become a Children's Librarian! So I wanted to say Thank You for sharing your characters with the rest of the world! Someday, I plan on reading your books with my daughter!
When my daughter, Erica, was only 4 years old, we began your Fairy books. I was shocked and amazed that my young child could listen so well and retain what was read day to day, week to week. In fact, now more than a year later, she still remembers all that happened.
Even though I'm the "grown-up", I think that I'm more in love with your books than she is. They are amazing. I absolutely love the character of Mother Dove. Prilla, as well. Its a shame that they aren't included in the movies. You books are, by far, superior to the movies. The world of Pixie Haven that you created is absolutely incredible.
